Possible because of morality issues with strip clubs, there is an instinctive knee-jerk reaction to think of them as dirty places (I feel it too), but logically I am sure their food has to meet the same standards of any other restaurant grading.

That being said, I don't know that it would be GOOD at that price, but of course if you are getting a "free" or "dollar" buffet, then you are probably paying a cover charge to get into the establishment.

Anyway, if I were not married, I would probably try it as research.

Here in Houston they advertise 'Free Buffets' all the time yet from what I hear there is a 15-30 dollar cover charge so really it wouldn't be with it.

I think the true question isn't whether it is a good frugal strategy or not but whether it is safe and sanitary to even consider. Eating out at a strip club? seriously?

Years ago, my employer didn't have any place for us to eat lunch. Every so often the men (and a few of the women) would meet at the "buffet" for lunch. For $12 including tip, we got a very nice lunch buffet with desert and a non-alchoholic drink. Was it frugal or just acting out?
