We I’ve definitely flatlined, didn’t really lose or gain weight overall for December. Honestly, it was the holidays and there were just too many treats to eat along with family dinners on the 24th and 25th and because family came in we also went out to restaurants to eat and celebrate this month.
Starting Jan 1, I will be getting on Atkins diet for two weeks. This will entail exclusively eating protein: chicken, fish, shrimp, beef, lobster. In the past doing this diet for two weeks usually caused me to lose about 10 lbs. At one point I lost 30 lbs on this diet over 90 days but it wasn’t sustainable, I got burned out of eating meat and my mouth would drool over a cracker on the table while I had a rib-eye steak on my plate.
The point of this exercise is to see if I can continue to lose weight or if I will need to up my dosage from 10mg to the next step up which I’d rather not do given the side effects. What’s hurting me is my new job is eating up a lot of time and I no longer have time to go swim in the morning and I need to figure out how to get back on track with the exercise program.
