A while ago I built a YouTube summarizer app that has been working great. Saves me a ton of time from “watching” YouTube videos and instead gets summaries of all relevant information. I use it to catch up on opinions on the economy, stock market, precious metals, and other things I trade or invest in. Unfortunately it only works on YouTube videos but what about video and audio files on my computer from other sources?
Antigravity to the rescue!
I told Antigravity about my problem and boy it went off and did a million things in the background and built me a new fully functional video/audio transcriber and summarizer app. Yeah, I was sitting on my recliner with my laptop letting it do it’s thing. I copy audio/video files to a folder and run the app and presto a few seconds or minutes later I have a transcription and summary of the video or audio.
I am fully away that there are services that do this but I am dealing with very large video files and it’s impractical to upload large files or waste time making them smaller then uploading them for summary. I have lots of computing power in my own home so why not use it?
The app worked great on the first file and in order to copy a whole bunch of them it’s going to take 8 hours so I am letting the sync work overnight and in the morning I will run it again to see how well it does with the files.
