Great news, I’ve lost more pounds and I’m now down below 265. I’m now lost over 40 lbs in about 18 months and am feeling better.
The body changes continue, my current face no longer matches my passport photo from a few years ago and I now fail at facial recognition at the airports overseas and get sent to the regular human queues.
Another change is I can no longer eat large meals. Heck I can’t finish a fast food combo that has a burger, fries and drink. I struggle to finish the sandwich and rarely touch the fries.
While most food still has muted flavors, I have become accustomed to the new normal.
I have also stopped worrying about the weight loss. The chart below shows occasional spikes in weight and I’m not sure what causes them since I eat way less than I used to but if you get on zepbound and have a slight uptick, don’t panic, just keep going.

The cost continues to be the main challenge. I am paying $500 month but I read somewhere that a new partnership with Walmart may drive the cost lower. I am still researching that and will explore those options.
Lastly, I have had to start shopping for new clothes. I have been reluctant to buy or have new clothes made because my goal is to continue to lose weight but my pants and shorts fall off now and I look like a hobo when I wrap a belt around my too loose pants.
While I was in Asia, I had some clothes custom made and they fit great and were low cost so I hope to do that again when I go back to Asia sometime next year.
