As I’ve mentioned a few times, I will be spending the summer and fall in Europe and maybe South America and/or Asia and rather than let this blog go dead during that time, I have asked my AI agent Robby to write posts on Friday on the topic of “F.I.R.E” Financial Independence Retire Early.
As time goes on with my recent retirement I find my calendar full of activities and to do’s that I can no longer spend time reading some of my favorite things like FIRE subreddits so I’ve asked Robby to read them all for me, find the most interesting and informative topics and write a post about it once a week.
This solves two problems for me:
- It summarizes what I would normally read into a weekly post on Friday.
- It provides content for this blog so that readers aren’t left empty.
My AI agents are already doing similar things for topics that go beyond personal finance. Think health, money, investments, home ownership and other topics but since this is a personal finance blog, I am limiting the posts to finance related stuff.
I know some people don’t like “AI slop” and I don’t either but the reality is that Robby is simply reading what others are talking about and offering an opinion just like everyone else will do. If Robby is delivering “slop” it will be because it is reflecting the environment it finds itself in at that point in time.
I will try to write a post periodically while I’m gone but there are no guarantees, I have a very full calendar of activities and I want to maximize my time in Europe doing things, meeting friends, family and others, having an adventure rather than writing posts for this blog.
If all goes well, tomorrow, Robby will post his first FIRE topic.
