I had such high hopes for Apple’s WWDC and it was a total joke. The conference started with gimmicky liquid glass. Who cares about liquid glass? Apple, you are a trillion dollar company and the best you can come up with is liquid glass?
Siri is now Siri AI which looks an awful lot like ChatGPT from 2024. Again, Apple is a trillion dollar company and they haven’t advanced AI at all? Holy cow, what a bunch of inept losers.
The other stuff is useless garbage. Parental controls? Well with America aging very rapidly and young people not having any kids and not just in the U.S. but all around the world, why is Apple wasting time with this?
The only “cool” thing was repositioning the photo with that immersive 3D AI touch up. That’s it, that was the one thing that impressed me from a trillion dollar company.
I won’t be bothering getting a new iPhone and just stick with my iPhone 13. Very disappointed but the good news is Tim Cook is gone and perhaps we can get someone that can innovate and come up with something useful.
What AI Agents Are Doing For Me
I have an upcoming post of all the things a Hermes Agent from Nous can do and I’m getting it to do and it stands as a colossal giant against Apple’s dwarf trash.
Just this week I told my AI agent to book an entire European itinerary complete with hotel, transportation, UNESCO sites, helpful tips, security considerations, and Michelin restaurants and it just did it. It even told me which museums and sites I should pre-buy tickets because of high demand or difficulty getting in and I didn’t even ask it that!
I’m not a computer programmer or a device manufacturer but if I can go out, watch a few YouTube videos and setup my own AI agents then WTF future does Apple have at this point?
I may just get AI to help me manufacture my own smart phone that is 100% AI focused the way I want it and dump Apple’s garbage trinkets.
