Amazing news. I’ve lost 10+ lbs since I left for my European vacation in July and I’m now back home. First thing I did was weigh myself and I was surprised to see that I lost 10 lbs. I actually likely lost more than 10 lbs in Europe but my last week on this extended vacation was on a cruise ship and I made a pig of myself in fine dining and buffets during the week.
I am now below 250 lbs in weight but I am worried about a couple of things.
First, if you’ve read my journey from the beginning, you know that the main side effect for me was constipation and I had to eat lots of fiber, beans, and occasional ducolax to stay regular. All of this went away in Europe. I had no need for extra beans, fiber or medication to keep regular. This leads me to think there is something wrong with the food in the United States. What exactly that might be is beyond me but European food was far better for my gut than American food. I’ll monitor the situation over the next few months.
Second, I think a large part of the weight loss I had in Europe was due to endless walking which I wrote about here. I have already been back just a day and I’ve had to drive everywhere including the grocery store, the DMV office, pharmacy, and a restaurant – all driving and not walking.
I’ve now lost over 55 lbs since I started Zepbound 3.75 years ago.
